"The Schäfer Family" invites you to a special music event aboard the MS "Donauprinzessin" II. As the Danube passes by Kelheim, enjoy a concert for the heart and soul – perfect for fans of folk and traditional schlager music.
The star of the evening is yodeling queen Angela Wiedl, whose yodeling art has been declared an intangible world cultural heritage. With her warm alto voice and crystal-clear highs, she enchants the audience. Look forward to new titles like "The Little Church St. Michael" and "The Power of Love" (the German version of the world hit "Eleni") as well as her great successes like "Mama Theresa," "How Many Stars Does the Night Have," and "But the Heartbeats...".
Original shepherd Uwe, who has been active for more than 30 years with numerous awards – including the "Golden Tuning Fork" – sings together with Angela and daughter Gina Maria popular Schäfer hits like "I Like Living in This Country," "The Old Village Tavern," and "Tell Me, Where Is Heaven." Gina Maria has been in the studio since 9 years old and gained attention with appearances on TV shows like "Folx-Stadl."
On board, a 3-course menu prepared in the ship's own kitchen is served, rounding off the concert experience gastronomically. Look forward to an unforgettable evening with music, emotions, and enjoyment on the Danube – your Schäfer Family & Schweiger crew await you.
