They are two originals, two types from the depths of the Bavarian Forest who fulfill everything except clichés. But that's exactly what Thomas Graf and Sebastian Hackl, aka “Tom & Basti,” are all about. On 24.01.2027, they will present their latest program "Zwoschneidig" on board the MS Kelheim. It is about the two sides of life and the contrasts between city people and country folk, until in the end you no longer know which difference is the better distinction. Tom & Basti are known for their cheeky self-ironic humor and quick-witted stage presence that gets the mood boiling. Their Lower Bavarian charm, which they don't have to compromise, creates an energy that immediately captivates the audience. In witty dialogues, anecdotes, and songs, they address what goes on at home in the “Woid” and what moves the people there; how they tick and think. Sometimes hilariously funny; sometimes thoughtful and touching. For this balancing act, Tom & Basti only need their loose mouths, guitar, and accordion. Incidentally, they also prove that modern folk music is livelier than ever. The two “Waidler” captivate young and old alike. They have played before thousands of young fans at the legendary Brass-Wies’n and are also an established part of the successful Volkssänger-Revue, the BR Brettl-Spitzen. “Zwoaschneidig” indeed!
