Founded in 2009, the museum is dedicated in changing exhibitions to the themes of the sea and coast. The focus is on works from the West Coast countries Norway, Denmark, Germany, and the Netherlands – featuring art from the 19. to the 21. century. After visiting the museum, there is time to explore Föhr on your own before the transfer takes you back to the harbor. Afterwards, the journey continues by ship back to Amrum.
